Guess what's happening this Friday! It's better than a concert, it's better than food, it's better than a phone call from your other half.

It's CF!

Yes, that's right. We're back and rearing to go as we welcome you guys into the continuing adventures of your college lives and the very beginning of it for some others.

As you may know, we CF-ers are a bunch of happy, enthusiastic and sometimes downright crazy bunch of people always on the ready to talk to you and provide help in any way we can. That being said, you should meet us! Promise we don't bite. We just nibble you a bit. Then we let go. Haaaaa. =)

So nibbling down to business, this Friday we have Ps. Jeremy from FGA visiting us again. He previously came last year which was the Friday before the Passion Conference in KL if you still remember.

So for those of you who've forgotten, we have our weekly CF sessions In Lecture Theatre 7 on Fridays.

We start at 2.30 PM.

Just to inform you guys, our para-daily prayer sessions are back in motion where we meet in the SAM Gardens on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7.45 AM. You're ALL welcome to come and pray together with us! Don't be shyyyy.

And a big HULLO! to all the newcomers to this blog, and old codgers too! We can't WAIT to see you guys in two days time!

Hey CF-ers!

I'm hoping you guys are still checking back once in a while. Apologies for the lack of updates during the end of the year. I do hope God has reenergized you for the new year. Here's wishing you have a smashing and audacious one ahead!

As we settle back into college, you just know that we'll be back up and running in no time. As such, we're kickstarting our CF Sessions on the (considerably) second week of college. In other words, we start on the 16th January (Friday)!

The time and place is as usual, okay? I hope you had a good loooong break and here's to seeing you guys usher in the start of college with us!

And just to let you know, There is an event called 'A Night of Praise and Worship' by the Psalmist Generation based in Ipoh that is to be held on the 30th November 2008 at 7.00 pm. The venue has been set at the Bukit Jalil Golf Club.

This event is organised thanks to the people behind Peace Community Church.

Gee, this is starting to sound like one of those ads on tv.

Ah, and a great part about this event is that refreshments will be served! More like, CHICKEN! That's what our dear Ms Esther told me today. And due to that, the organisers would require you to RSVP (confirm in advance) that you are attending so that they can properly allocate their resources (CHICKEN, YO!) and balance their expenditures. It's the lovely world of Economics. =)

As for this Friday's CF meeting (yes, this is back),

we have Pastor Roy Boyd from (wait for it)... City Discipleship Presbyterian Church!

Phew! That's long.

As you hopefully know by now, it's gonna be held in C15 at our usual time slot:

2.30 pm - 4.00 pm.

So do come and relieve yourself after a week's worth of college and embrace God's presence. =) He's warm and cuddly that way.

As you may have read, this is an event organised by City Church KL (based in Sunway UniCol) and everyone is invited to come and have a great and awesome time in God's presence! Plus, you could win that iPod Touch! Touchy!

Yes, I do realise it's near to some of our exam dates but try and commit yourself to it and come. He is, after all, higher than everything else that we do. Best of all, it's absolutely FWEEEE!

Now I know the Malaysian mentality, whenever something is free, people don't show up. When you slap a price on there, the KLANG VALLEY is there. Defy convention, people! Go for the free stuff! =D
